Begin This Ritual

Each tea from Tea Rituals came through a process of searching, questioning, rejecting, and aligning — not just with quality, but with values. For me, tea is a tool for regulating state inside a life that does not slow down. Each tea serves a different moment, supports a different internal state. And each one reflects a decision I chose not to compromise on.

Where is Tea From

THE ORIGIN

Lin'an, Hangzhou  ·  Zhejiang Province, China

A place shaped by mist, forest, and time.

Lin'an is a mountainous district near Hangzhou — one of China's most historically revered tea-growing regions. Surrounded by the forested hills of the Tianmu Mountain range, with a humid, misty climate and over 70% forest coverage, it creates the precise conditions that allow tea to develop depth, softness, and clarity of flavour.

This is not a farm. It is an ecosystem.

Over a thousand years of cultivation.

Tea has been grown in this region for more than a millennium. Generations of producers have refined the craft in close relationship with the land — organic by practice, not just certification. The gardens are tended with the same patience the mountains demand.

The plantations here are certified organic from root to harvest. Every leaf is selected with precision. Every batch is tested in-house before it leaves the mountain. What arrives in your cup has been grown, processed, and refined within the same land — nothing outsourced, nothing rushed.

From this place, to your cup.

For TEA Rituals, origin is not a label. It is part of the experience, the energy, and the intention behind every ritual you create.

We didn't choose this origin for its credentials alone. We chose it because the person behind it understands what it means to give your soul to what you make. That kind of intention — quiet, uncompromising, deeply felt — is what we look for.

It is what you taste.

What's Inside

every Tea Rituals box contains:

  10 pre-filled sachets

8g of whole-leaf tea in each sachet

  Sealed at origin

Why Sachets?

I chose this format very deliberately

Not tea bags  >  they break the leaf and lose the essential oils

Not loose tea  >  it quickly loses aroma and freshness once the pack is opened

These sachets protect the tea from oxygen, humidity and degradation, so every single cup delivers the same quality and the same effect

What You Get

  Pure single-origin tea

  No blends

  No additives

  No loss of freshness

What you experience is exactly what the plant was meant to deliver — clean, consistent and predictable

The Second Layer

The tea gives you the state

The ritual teaches you how to access it

One consistent cup at a time, you start to notice what your mind and body actually need

Pure. Consistent. No compromises

How To Brew

no rules > just starting point

Tea Rituals box includes a brewing guide crafted specifically for that tea,   based on both traditional Chinese and English methods

Each Tea Rituals sachet contains 8g of whole-leaf tea - designed for a full teapot, a slower process, a deeper experience

Brewing Guide

  • Classic Teapot (500–700 ml)

1 sachet (8g) · 2–5minutes (depending on tea type)

  • Gongfu Style (100–150 ml gaiwan)

1 sachet (8g) · short infusions 20–40 seconds · 6–8 rounds

  • Cold Brew (750–1000 ml)

1 sachet (8g) · 6–8 hours (or overnight) in the fridge

Cold Brew Notes

Works especially well with lighter teas: Milk Oolong, Ginseng Oolong, White Peony, Silver Needle and Longjing.

For bolder character, Da Hong Pao and Lapsang Souchong are best enjoyed hot.

Water temperature matters:

Green 75-85°C

White 80-90°C

Oolong 90-95°C

Black 95-100°C

Steeping is not timing — it is allowing:

Green 1.5-2 min

White 2-3 min

Oolong 2-4 min

Black 3-5 min

The Atmosphere Edit

Tea was never meant to exist in isolation

The atmosphere around it matters too — the pace, the sound, the space to think, pause, notice more, and return to yourself for a moment

Over time, tea becomes more than a drink. Not through performance or ritual for the sake of ritual, but through repetition, attention, and presence. A quieter rhythm within everyday life

This understanding became part of the foundation behind Tea Rituals

The music, the textures, the slower pace, the atmosphere surrounding the experience — all of it shapes the way tea is felt and remembered

The Atmosphere Edit was created as an extension of that space

A curated layer of sound designed to sit quietly beside the tea and the person experiencing it — during work, reflection, reading, creative flow, slow mornings, or quieter evenings

Not to distract from the moment, but to deepen it gently

Because some of the strongest things in life do not arrive loudly

They work slowly, steadily, and almost silently
