WHERE THE STORY BEGINS
ORIGIN
Every tea has a place of origin.
But origin is more than geography.
It is climate, water, soil, craftsmanship and time.
It is the countless decisions that shape a leaf long before it reaches a cup.
Tea Rituals begins in the Tianmu Mountain ecosystem of Zhejiang Province — a landscape where nature and tea have evolved together for centuries.
It was here that I finally found a tea producer who shared my way of seeing the world: one that values substance over appearance, patience over speed, and lasting quality over passing trends.
THE PRINCIPLES OF SELECTION
Origin is where every tea begins.
It is not where the selection ends.
Every tea is considered through a combination of factors that extend far beyond geography alone.
Cultivation.
Craftsmanship.
Harvest quality.
Sensory character.
Consistency over time.
Independent laboratory verification.
Only when these elements come together does a tea become part of Tea Rituals.
Some belong within Foundation Seven.
Others eventually find their place on the Inner Shelf.
Different collections.
The same uncompromising standards.
Because exceptional tea is never defined by origin alone, but by the integrity of everything that follows.

THE HANDS BEHIND THE LEAF
Every remarkable tea begins long before it reaches the cup.
WHERE PATIENCE BECOMES QUALITY
Great tea is shaped by thousands of small decisions, repeated season after season.
CRAFT BEFORE SCALE
Exceptional tea cannot be hurried.
EVIDENCE BEFORE CLAIMS
Purity as a foundation.
INDEPENDENT CERTIFICATION
Production is independently assessed against recognised organic and food safety standards before tea reaches Tea Rituals.
EVERY BATCH IS TESTED
Every tea is accompanied by analytical testing covering composition, microbiology and safety indicators.
QUALITY IS A PROCESS
It begins in the field.Continues through craftsmanship. Is confirmed through independent verification. And only then becomes part of Tea Rituals.
FOUNDATION SEVEN
